This is a course from cadet to Master, and the product knows which one you are: pick your rank when you sign up — deck rating, cadet, Third or Second Officer, Chief Mate, Master Mariner — and it is what the interface calls you from then on. Nothing switches off when the month ends. Your access continues; the upgrade prompts simply become more visible. This is unusual and we would rather say it plainly than let you discover it.
The platform is a progressive web app. Once it has loaded it runs offline — written for reading on ship satellite links and in colleges where the connection comes and goes.
